Ebay is such a powerful tool when it comes to selling. PSD Center can help you build your auction the way you want it make it easier for you to sell.

Our team has implemented ebay auctions with javascript buttons, pop up boxes, ect. You really need to know how to code the javascript because Ebay does not allow you to pull javascript source files in your code. Everything has to be built on the page.

Couple Important tips if you are going to build a template yourself.

All images have to pull from an outside source

Ebay does this so they do not have to keep so much space on their servers. Imagine if everybody built templates with ten to twenty images directly on eBay’s server. It would really take up a lot of space.

Also they charge per image that you upload. This defeats the purpose of trying to charge you if you can just easy upload them to eBay’s server below.

Javascript cannot pull external sources

This is a security issue for eBay. Let’s face it they do not want any funny business. They want their website to be 100% sercure and if you are able to import all different types of on page JavaScript’s you could easily start manipulating the page and making eBay lose their credibility.

Some Cool Features You Can Now Include In Your Design For Your Ebay Auction!

Fancy Box Pop Up Windows

You can use these to display your images. This will Create thumbnail gallery and when people click on it the images pop up.

Jquery Tabs

Rather than someone having to scroll down and down to get all the information about your product you can make it easier for your user to stay at the top of the page.

If you guys want to convert your PSD to Ebay auction ro store then contact us today at PSD Center. This is definitely not an easy job if you are trying to incorporate javascript and cool effects and this is why you can use us to build this out!

Online chat support is great for your business. Here at PSD Center we have started with SnapEngage. Honestly it is one of the best things we could have done to start engaging with our potential clients.

If you know you have a stellar business/product and want to give your users the opportunity to converse with you to show your true professionalism then SnapEngage is the way to go.

Here are some features why Snap Engage is awesome

Proactive Chat Feature

Proactive Chat

This is one of the best features of this chat program. If you have a rep online you can set how many seconds until a message slides onto the screen giving them a welcome message with a chat field. If you are selling a product and user is on the website most likely they will engage in a chat.

While the chat is happening try to build a relationship with the potential client to see how you can cater their needs and follow up, follow up, follow up!

Logs chat sessions

So after the chat was completed all this information is stored in your admin section. If you ever have to review what you said to the potential client then this will come really handy. This way during your follow up you can reference back the chat session so you can show your potential client your true professionalism that they are not just a number but a valuable client.

Connects With Your G-Chat or Other Chats You Use!

This makes it super easy.  Connect it to your g-chat, skype, or whatever else you use.  This makes communication on your side very easy.  You do not have to change a thing.  Just drop the code on your website and you are now live.

SnapEngage has different plans. They have a free plan which is not bad for very small businesses. As your business grows you can increase your plan.  Free plans give you 30 chats a month.  It is not heavily advertised on the website about the free plan but you can see it under pricing if you look for the small tab.

If you are a start up business or a huge business it is important to keep your brand management up to par on the internet. The point of this is to legitimize yourself as a business and show your web presence. This is especially important for small start up businesses.

It is important for all businesses to be on top of all their social media outlets.

Top Social Media Outlets

Facebook is a very powerful feature. You can connect with people at a very personal level. Sometimes this is not the most professional method but using this as a way to market your company and give yourself a great social presence is very important.

Twitter is very powerful as you can connect with people in a more professional matter. You can follow related businesses in your industry and they can follow you as well giving each other useful information.

LinkedIn is very powerful when it comes to meeting people professionally. It like an online portal of resumes. You can recruit potential prospects for your company by people searching for your company or by you going out and recruiting people you want.

Why Social Media Branding is Important

After all these basics of how you can use social media, it is important for your business presence on the web. When someone is searching your company on the internet they will search for your company name on the search engines. How nice would it be to show up on the top 4 listings on google as below.

The last thing you want as a business is for someone to hijack your social media name and using it maliciously or for their own promotion. This can hurt your business. This is why it is very important to claim all your social media networks and keep them up to date to keep your reputation strong.

This shows companies you are very relevant and gives companies the opportunity to look into how you interact with the public.

Google has decided to create their own font face directory that designers and developers can use for all their projects. Honestly we love their user interface. Now we only have to wait on more and more fonts to enter into their directory.

A couple reasons why we love using Google Web Fonts

  • Easy to find a font style

All you have to is search on the left sidebar by thickness, script, category and your fonts will populate in the middle.

  • Easy To Use

All you have to is click on the font that you want. Click the “add to collection” button. You can save your favorite fonts to your collection for future projects and use.

  • Paste the code they supply you

If you are a beginner web developer never used @facefont or google web fonts then adding the code is super simple.

I think the reason why google web fonts is really awesome because google is becoming a one stop shop for everything. Check your email, keep your stock photos, and now pick your favorite fonts. This all saves time in the end and this is what we love as developers.
